The name of tonight’s movie is “ Long Green Line” (PG; 2008).

This is a true story documentary about a high school cross country track coach who has been coaching for over 50 years. The town is just west of Chicago.

He has a unique method of coaching and recruits and coaches anyone who will sign up. He has 10% of the school body on his cross country team. He takes them as freshmen who can barely walk and turns a big group of them into state champions. His coaching has helped this small high school win 25 State Championships in cross country.

It can be a little slow at times but is worth watching if you ever aspire to be a great coach. This man is one of the best.
