Going forward now that the 50 States are done.
As most of you know, I have completed my goal to run a marathon in all fifty states…and then some.
I now have a goal to run a marathon in each of the 7 continents. While starting with Antarctica last year was a good start, in order to accomplish this next goal, I will need to do a lot of traveling. I will take my time going to the 5 continents left and plan to do one a year and spend 2 or 3 weeks in each continent. On each trip, I will write about my experiences on each continent.
Until then, I need to expand the blog to be able to keep it updated more often. Everyone I talk to is disappointed because the blogs are far and few between. With an extended plan to complete marathons on each of the remaining five continents, it may only be one or two a year. So here is my plan…
Since I have done so much running, there are a lot of things I take for granted and just assume everyone knows about running and/or exercise. I will start writing about things I have discovered running. I will also put out some runs that are not marathons, but are just nice places to run, and how to find them.
It will help me a lot if I get some feedback and questions. You can e-mail me questions or ideas for blogs at ralphruns50@gmail.com. If requested, I will keep the questions and comments anonymous. In the meantime, I have some great topics in the works, and am currently in negotiation with some people for me to use their names and information in my blog. Will follow up with a new post tomorrow to test a new topic!
Thank you for your patience and look forward to hearing from you soon.
